This is a two session online workshop.

Do you have skills you want to share but don't know where to start? This two session online class for artists and creatives will give you a start to developing and proposing classes: what to teach, venues, pricing, and most of all, how to lead interesting classes to inspire your students, based on what you do every day in your studio.

We'll start with the basics: how to take our skills and passions and turn them into workshops. We'll discuss teaching philosophy and approach for both online and in-person classes. In the second session, the group will work together to practice writing actual workshop proposals.

This is not an accredited education class, it's an opportunity to learn how to share the skills you have. Instruction is aimed at artists and craftspeople with no experience or background in teaching, though those with prior teaching experience are more than welcome.
