A distinctive quality of paste paper is its 3-dimensional pattern and design. This is achieved when paste is applied to the paper and a pattern is made in the paste. As the paper dries, the paste leaves a slightly 3-D pattern on a 2-dimensional surface.  Paste papers can be used for folded books, book covers, book end sheets, collage, illustrations and on fabrics. Throughout the day, students will make at least 10-20 pieces of paste paper during this workshop in addition to making 2-3 pamphlet stitched notebooks using their own paste papers made in class.
