Have you ever wanted to conceive of your own greeting card? Now you can in a one-day workshop! In this one day, 8 hour class, students will conceive an idea for a greeting card and take it to completion. Each student will have an approx. 5 in x 8 in piece of linoleum for their greeting card. Students will carve this one color image within the first half of class, and we will focus on printing during the second half of class.

There will be demos of printing in color and black/white. The paper for the cards will be a stark white, and the teacher will provide pattern blocks to be printed as base layers to add color to the compositions. Students will have the opportunity to make an edition of 10 greeting cards in class.
