Picture and paper crafts were quite popular in the Victorian Era from whence this exploding box originated.  In this workshop you will learn how to make this paper box and lid that has 28 surfaces where pictures, words, and illustrations can be placed.  It is like a little book or photo album in a box… that explodes! Small objects can also be placed at the center as an extra surprise.

This structure makes a great gift. It can commemorate a trip, or event, or even serve as an ABC book or story book for a little one. So many possibilities!

(Jody will be teaching two workshops in one day - check out her morning class, Origami Travel Notebook)
