  • This event takes place at California College for the Art's Novack Hub for Creative Citizens located inside the Simpson Family Makers Building at 145 Hooper Street, San Francisco.

As part of CCA’s Hamaguchi Print Week, artist and papermaker Aimee Lee will give a presentation about her studio process, research projects, and recent work. As a leading authority on Korean papermaking history and techniques, Lee has contributed to a broader understanding of Korean papermaking traditions. Her studio work is widely collected and is included in collections such as the Metropolitan Museum of Art, the Rijksmuseum, Harvard University, and the Korean Consulate in New York City.

This Hamaguchi Print Week Lecture is part of California College of Art’s Hamaguchi Print Week, which celebrates its 30-year anniversary in 2025. Taking place March 12 - 20, 2025, Hamaguchi Print Week is curated by Anthea Black, Associate Professor, Printmedia and Graduate Fine Arts. This event is free and open to the general public.

The Hamaguchi Print Week Lecture is co-presented with San Francisco Center for the Book and The CODEX Foundation.
