San Francisco Center for the Book (SFCB) is pleased to host the exhibition OPEN/SET in our gallery. Sponsored by the American Academy of Bookbinding (Telluride, CO), OPEN/SET is a prestigious triennial exhibition celebrating the art of finely crafted design bookbindings.

The opening reception at SFCB will feature 30+ fine bindings from the exhibition's "open" category, with Best in Show and Highly Commendable awards for open category books announced during the event.

Light refreshments will be served. Representatives from the American Academy of Bookbinding will offer opening remarks.

SFCB is proud to highlight the OPEN / SET exhibition as part of SF Art Week. Onsite public programming for the exhibition will take place throughout SF Art Week at SFCB.
