PLEASE NOTE: this is a ticketed event and is seated on a first come, first served basis.  Attendance is limited to 50 tickets. Tickets must be purchased in advance and will not be sold at the door. Ticket purchase price is $15.00.

SFCB is excited to host Shubhra Prakash (“Fontwala”) and typographer Rajeev Prakash Khare as they bring together their passion for Indian scripts, performance, and the written word. Featuring a live performance and calligraphy demonstration in SFCB’s main print studio, attendees will be treated to an excerpt from Shubhra Prakash’s stage show “Fontwala”, presented earlier this year at The Marsh Theatre. Typographer, font designer, and renowned calligrapher Rajeev Prakash Khare will give a demonstration of Indian script calligraphy. Event attendees will receive a letterpress keepsake designed by Khare.

Light refreshments will be served on SFCB’s back patio during the event.

CANCELATIONS: Please contact events@sfcb.org if you need to cancel your ticket. If you cancel less than three (3) business days before this event, no refund will be issued. No-shows (no call or email notice) will not receive a refund.
