Join SFCB in congratulating the artists of this year's Small Plates Program!

The 2020 Editions were waylaid by the pandemic, but despite the closures, Zoom meetings, and assorted difficulties, the artists were all able to finish some glorious books. We at SFCB could not be prouder of them.

Each year San Francisco Center for the Book invites 3 artists to produce artist's books of a specific size (4 inches x 4 inches) in a limited edition of 50-100. SFCB provides space, equipment, technical support, and funds for materials to the artists. Since the program's inception in 2008, artists have produced 29 editions, all of which represent the immense creativity and hard work of the artists.
