What a success!

We surpassed our goal, raising over $800,000 to fund a game-changing list of projects. Thank you to everyone who helped make this happen!

The SFCB's Innovation Fund supports investments in our infrastructure, technology, and staff, focusing on a remodel and refresh of our facilities, creation of a new website, technology training, production of high-quality virtual programming, and expansion of staff capacity.

These physical, digital, and staff investments will allow SFCB to continue to flourish, supporting our ongoing efforts in:

  • Developing programmming that expands our audience and deepens student learning and classroom experience
  • Building and inspiring a diverse, inclusive book arts community, with closer connection and collaboration
  • Increasing organizational stabililty with a focus on staff development and digital infrastructure

We are the San Francisco Center for the Book, a center of inspiration for the book arts world.  We are binders, printers and artists who come together to teach, learn, share and engage in the community through workshops, exhibitions and events.
