Workshops

The San Francisco Center for the Book offers more than 300 workshops each year in four broad categories: Printing, Binding, Related Arts and Artist Professional Development. Registration begins immediately and continues throughout the semester. You are encouraged to register early, as class size is limited and classes are filled on a first-come, first-served basis. You may register in person, by phone, or online.

Please note that we cannot reserve your place in a class without having received full payment. You will receive an e-mail confirmation when your registration is complete. If the class is already full, you will be placed on a wait list and notified if space becomes available. You will not be charged unless space becomes available.

Registration Cancellation Policy: PLEASE NOTE, OUR POLICY HAS CHANGED.
We will issue a class credit if you cancel seven or more business days before your class. The credit must be used within 6 months from the date of cancellation. If you cancel less than 7 or more business days before your workshop, no credit can be issued and you forfeit the workshop fee unless a wait list has been established and another customer can take your place. If a wait list has been established, you will be notified and receive a class credit that must be used within 6 months. If your class is cancelled by the Center, you will get a full cash refund.
