Paul Johnson presents his new sculptural unique pop-up carousel books on themes including motorized mobile homes, airplanes and steam locomotives with tall chimneys. There are no folds – all the sections are joined with hinges. The hundreds of movable parts can be taken to pieces, changed, and put back together again.

Paul Johnson is one of the UK’s most distinguished paper engineers. In 2013 he won first prize and the Portnall Award in the complete book section of the Society of Bookbinders International Bookbinding Competition. His work is in most major collections in the USA including the Cooper-Hewett Museum in New York and the Library of Congress, Washington DC.
