Both metal-backed and sticky-backed platemaking will be covered. In this workshop you have the option to make a plate from your own files, the instructor will contact you beforehand with parameters for digital files if you would like to make a plate for your own project during the class. This lab qualifies you to rent SFCB’s photopolymer platemaker.

Materials Fee: $5. If you will be submitting your own file to make plates, there will be a $15 charge for film and an additional $20 charge for plate material. Please note: if you register less than three days before the workshop, you may not be able to make a plate from your own negative.
