The longstitch is a historical binding in which the stitching pattern is woven in and out of the cover with exposed sewing along the spine, resulting in a truly unique and lovely book. You'll fold, punch and sew a longstitch binding that can have a wrapper or exposed sewing. Highly adaptable to a variety of applications from chapbooks to artists' books, this binding structure is an excellent foundation for binders and artists alike.
