Create a beautiful sketchbook with 140lb watercolor paper. The book will have an exposed-sewn binding using link and kettle stitches. It will have a protective flap that slips into a pocket on the front cover. You will get to paint and decorate the covers, flap and spine during class. Some sewing experience helpful. Paper, needles, thread, provided
Materials to Bring: Bone folder, awl or needle tool, scalpel or x-acto knife with extra blades, small triangle, watercolors, brushes, pencil, waterproof pen(s)

About the Instructor | Judy Serebrin
Judith’s books and sculptures have been exhibited widely and have been collected by libraries, museums and individuals in the United States and abroad. She has been making limited-edition and unique books from etchings, monotypes, watercolors and drawings since 1989. Her work has been featured in many books about Artist’s Books and contemporary ceramics. She has been teaching at the SFCB from the beginning!
