In this class you will learn the basic letter- forms, and the rhythm and spacing that give Italic its distinctive appearance. You will be provided with many historical and modern examples to inspire you, and the skills you learn working with a broad-edged pen will provide a firm foundation for learning almost any calligraphic hand. No prior calligraphy experience needed.
