Although this Chinese structure looks like a book, inside are very distinctive small connected structures that fold flat but can open up like boxes. Each section can reveal secret books, hidden messages, collected ephemera, or sewing supplies.
Materials to Bring: Scissors, bone folder, cutting knife, cutting mat, pencil, glue stick

About the Instructor | C.J Grossman
C.J. has taught thousands of adults and children how to make books. She teaches book arts as well as mixed media collage and assemblage. She also specializes in classes for teachers who want to make books with kids. CJ lives in the East Bay, and exhibits internationally.
