We all can use a leg up in presenting our work, and off the shelf
portfolios just don't always do the best job. For anyone who wants to use a special
color, page size, or graphic element on the cover of his or her portfolio, using store
bought portfolios is too limiting. The good news is that creating a screwpost portfolio
from scratch is one of easiest bookbinding projects. In this workshop, you will create
a portfolio to accommodate single sheets (not folios). We will discuss the various
possibilities for personalizing the cover, including inlays, labels, and foil stamping.
Each student will choose one method and make one professionally finished portfolio.

Materials to bring:  Basic bookbinding tools (bone folder, awl, olfa snap off knife, scissors, dividers)

Workshop Fee:  $180.00

Date & Time: Sunday, March 22, 2015 | 9:30am-5:30pm

Location: This workshop will take place at 375 Rhode Island St, San Francisco, CA 94103

Note: Please review our Registration Policies before signing up for a class
