Donald Glaiser will be speaking at the San Francisco Center for the Book as part of a workshop/lecture series being held in conjunction with the Hand Bookbinders of California and the American Academy of Bookbinding.

Recent Work and Conversation is the title of the lecture and show of slides of recent work. There will also be a presentation of preliminary working drawings and models for some of the books for discussion. This second part will tie in nicely with the B to Z Workshop.

Donald Glaister is the Director of the Fine Binding Program at the American Academy of Bookbinding and a book artist who lives and works on Vashon Island, Washington, near Seattle.
