There is nothing better than a good notebook. We will print a few sturdy covers with patterns and images on the Vandercook using wood and metal type, as well as collographs made from scraps of fabric or paper. Learn what type of found materials will work well when printing on the Vandercook, or assembling a notebook at home. Learn how to create a quick assembly line with friends to bind a few notebooks fast. Expect to bring home 1–3 completed notebooks, as well as a few extra letterpress covers to use later when you make more at home. After you take Letterpress I, II and III, you are qualified to rent time on the Center's Vandercook cylinder presses.
