In this workshop, we take apart and rebind, in a much more attractive and durable fashion, one of those Composition Books available widely at drugstores. The textblocks are lined and made from acid free paper, making them practically impossible to live without. Once you personalize your first notebook in this method you'll wonder why you never did before, and as part of this class we will use the Kwikprint to foil stamp a nifty paper label for the front to identify it as your own.

Materials to Bring: pad for taking notes.

Optional and available at SFCB for student use during worksop: bone folder, awl, utility knife, scissors, dividers, pencil.

Workshop Fee (includes $30 materials fee): $195.00

Date & Time: Sunday, August 12, 2018 :: 9:30am-5:30pm

Past Student Reviews:

“Juliayn is an excellent teacher. She employed a combination of demonstrations, whiteboard instruction, handouts, and one-on-one troubleshooting and follow-up to keep the class moving while letting each of us proceed at our own pace. Our class was a lively, witty group. Juliayn participated in the banter while keeping us focused to get through the material we needed to cover each day.”

“Very knowledgeable and lots of fun.”

“I love the process of creating and assembling the pieces to the book. I don't think i'm going to look at books or journals the same.”
