100 Years in Print: California Society of Printmakers Centennial Celebration
November 7th, 2013 6:30 PM
Thursday November 7th | 6:30pm-8:30pm
Come in and join us for a unique hands-on and historical event: 100 Years in Print: California Society of Printmakers Centennial Celebration. The Center’s six Vandercook letterpresses will be inked and ready for the evening. Each guest will have an opportunity to print their own 6-color print commemorating the CSP's tenacity as the oldest printmaking society in America. The Center’s exhibition space will share examples of various forms of printmaking and the tools used to create them. Featured prints will explore ways in which present CSP artists are pushing the boundaries of their media, bridging the past 100 years of printmaking, with what’s happening now, to take these art forms into the future. Exhibition juried by Ianne Kjorlie, a master printer from Crown Point Press. Thursday, November 7, 6:30-8:30 pm.
