SFCB: 25 Years in the Books!

We're celebrating our 25th Anniversary and invite you to join us! We have a roster of lively events lined up to honor the successes of our first 25 years and share our vision of the next quarter century.

Since 1996, San Francisco Center for the Book has been a resource and meeting place for book artists, printers, calligraphers, and those who have a passion for books and the printed word. SFCB has hosted renowned instructors via our workshops, showcased up-and-coming artists in our exhibition gallery, and presented engaging programming for those interested in or curious about the world of artists’ books. Thousands of visitors have stopped by, said hello, and been inspired.

We look forward to welcoming new friends and long-time community members to the events listed below.
