Books and Bookboxes by Joanne B. Kaar

Joanne B. Kaar

Who could resist a thick, ancient-looking volume? I love the story that these wonderfully textured, perfectly-boxed books, objects, and leaves of peat and paper tell together. The above is titled “Seafarers Log,” while the bottle below references a “message in a bottle.”

See more of Joanne Kaar’s work on her flickr photostream. See the books and boxes set for this group.
